One Day with Jesus

In the morning I praise His name,

With humility always I seek His face.

In quietness I find Him and be blessed.

Jesus shines today, He smiles at me;

His love gives warmth to my soul.

�

In the afternoon peace and joy kiss,

By faith each step is under His guidance.

How marvelous is His grace along the day!

Heavenly melodies echo in my heart,

Jesus sustains my life, never I�m alone here.

�

In the evening His wonderful Word consoles,

Satisfied I�m as Jesus walks besides me.

Indeed, the object of His care I am!

My whole day is beautiful, I see His mercy,

I fly with Jesus o�er the distressing world.

�

At night, I thank Him for a perfect rest,

God keeps me; To His loving embrace I flee;

His child I�m, never sleeps is gentle Jesus.

Besides the still waters my burdens lifted up,

Sweet dreams in my fellowship with Jesus.
