Yes, His Light Guides Me!

On Jesus I rely in this barren world;

Murmur never I do, His joy is my strength.

Perished I shall be when His love departs;

Abiding in His peace, I know that He loves me.

I tell you “Yes, His light guides me!”

Jesus walks with me, wherever I feel secure,

His truth shines, His gentle voice I hear;

When the storms toss, in my Savior I trust.

His Spirit enlivens me day by day,

How amid the darkness His love flows!

Never I am alone, great is His mercy on me,

By faith I see that I’ve a good Father;

Jesus sustains me in His everlasting arms.

Whenever I’m weary, sure are my steps;

I’ve Jesus who is faithful along the way,

In joy or pain His marvelous love be with me!

His joy is so true, I belong to Jesus,

Today is filled with God’s gracious love;

I sing hallelujah, my soul praises the King.
