Jesus, My Joy Day and Night

Amen! Jesus is my joy day and night;

When I’m in tears, He consoles my heart.

Heavenly melodies chime in deep distress,

My anguish dissapears, Jesus befriends me;

His faithfulness helps His child to withstand.

In His everlasting arms my burdens I forget,

How secure I am in my Savior’s tender care!

Jesus is my refuge when the turmoil surrounds,

The joy that He shares restores my broken spirit;

My sick soul has the best remedy in His love.

Today I feel loved, and all is bright and beautiful,

I see how His light guides each of my step!

‘God is good’ This is my theme song daily,

No more fear since He is the Mighty Lord;

Under His wings I can overcome my sadness.

I render praises to Jesus, His touch heals me;

My heart rejoices, He is my great Savior forever,

Whenever I’m down, His joy cheers me up!
