My Soul

My soul � the place where God implants His Word.

With adoration I bow down before His throne,

Firm always in faith, filled with thanksgiving.

God is good, He leads me to the perfect peace,

A wretch I�m yet saved by His gracious love.

Mine eyes fix on Jesus, in Him only is my strength,

Hallelujah I sing again and again as the day goes by.

My soul � the place where heavenly joy abides.

At Calvary Jesus redeemed me with His blood,

His precious child I�m, purified from day to day.

Jesus holds my hands, never worry and fear I do,

Beautiful melodies come from the heart of God;

Infinite is His love, even when the billows roll.

God cares; it�s my praise to Jesus - the Living Head.

My soul � the place where salvation echoes.

Today His mercy guides me in the desert,

The distressing world makes me closer to God;

Like a sweet perfume is my life since now.

There�s eternal hope as my heart believes,

He knits my days with His everlasting love,

Satisfied always be my hungry and weary soul.
