Jesus Cares

When I’m so burdened, Jesus cares...

He is in my heart, my steps He guides;

So faithful is Jesus, today is bright!

When my sorrow overwhelms, Jesus cares...

Never He does let me alone in despair,

Jesus hugs me, He bore all my pain at Calvary.

How thankful I am as the child of the King!

His love is so true, daily I walk with Him,

Whenever I call His name, Jesus comes.

Indeed, never late is His help for me!

His merciful love is my strength forever;

Always He lifts me up when all is dark.

Jesus speaks gently to my barren soul,

I realize that never fade is His caring love;

Though many times I’m down, His joy be with me!

His perfect peace makes me rest amid the storms,

Jesus is my friend, all my fear dissapears,

Only to Him I cling, and His sweet comfort flows!
