Jesus, My Hope Amid the Storms

Jesus, my hope amid the storms;

His hands sustain when I’m burdened,

Walking with my Savior, safe all the time.

My heart adores Jesus, my eternal King;

His salvation rings, great is His mercy!

The worldy cares that press are no more,

Today His peace reigns, His joy fills me.

Whenever Jesus is faithful, His child I am,

The fear that surrounds sinks in His love.

Day by day Jesus does know my heart,

My needs He provides, I sing glory to Him!

No longer I feel lonely, Jesus befriends me,

In His love I can hide, abundant is His grace.

My Savior’s hand is there to help me;

Always His goodness I taste in this world,

Jesus shows compassion when I’m in despair.

Gentle Jesus and His Word strengthens me,

Life is precious since He is my shelter!

The warmth of His love is mine forever;

Amen! Jesus be with me whatever befalls.
