Cancelled Sin

undeserving of a cancelled sin
a cancelled sin is a sin forgiven
a sin forgiven by grace alone
by grace alone may we start over again
start over again - God wipes the slate clean
the slate clean - begin life anew
begin life anew as God wants us to
God wants us to look to Him for strength
look to Him for strength to live a righteous life
live a righteous life and know God personally
know God personally and our sins we'll overcome
we'll overcome and sit by our Master's throne

Revelations 3:21-22

To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

About the Poet
I grew up in rural North Carolina, married for 38 years to my best friend and soulmate, Allen, who retired almost 17 years ago from the Air Force after 24 years of service to our beloved America. We have a daughter, Ashley ( and son-in-law, Kris) and, a son, John, and, our two beautiful grand daughters, Amelia and Haley, and Isaac, our only grandson, all blessings from God. We have four cats; Mr. Peabody, Missy, aka Middle Kitty and Tabby, aka Little Kitty, and Gracie. I've seen a lot of hard times and God has always been here for me to see me through them. I am a vessel God can use to help others in need. If I could be described in one word, it would be that I am an encourager.
