Start the Day with a Smile

Start the Day with a Smile

Every morning introduce yourself to
yourself when you look in the mirror.
This should make you start the day
with a smile.

The hardest part of prayer....is to pray,
then trust God and stay out of His way.
I wait in great anticipation to see and hear
Jesus call my name...for Heaven is my
goal, nothing more.

Lord, I'm glad you love sinners...
because I am not perfect!
Lord, prune me and make me new
again. Here I am Lord!

Teach me to carry my cross with a smile
down to the last mile.
Lord, I know You are here for me,
Thank You.

Prayer is the greatest power in the world.
Don't forget to pray every day.
And...never forget where you started,
trust God, then move boldly forward into
the future with Him.

"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray,
and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice."
            (Psalm  55:17)

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
