   Early Morning Prayer Hour

Lord, thank You for allowing
me to wake up early each
morning.

I like to spend time with You
before I start the day alone
with You.

You reveal so much more
when I sit still and listen to
what you let me see.

My heart and mind are
open in the wee hours
of morning and I am very
grateful. Thank You.

"Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall
anwer, thou shalt cry, and He shall say,
"Here I am..." (Isaiah 58:9)

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
