LOSS and GAIN

I will miss you, yes it’s true

No-one can be the same as you

No-one can take your special place

Replace that lovely smiling face

But memories are in my heart

That keep us not so far apart

I know that one sweet day we’ll be

Together for eternity

For I have heard and I believe

That though this earth we have to leave

Our Saviour came and made the way

For us to go and always stay

Together in a bliss divine

Where the sun does always shine

There’s no loss and there’s no time

There’s no sadness and no crime

By His word that’s never changed

He’s promised things we can’t explain

But if we stay soft and wait

Our heart may soon co-operate

And through our faith peace will reign

And loss will turn into gain.
