Crossways

You’ve come to the crossway
Of life’s winding road
You’ve got quite some baggage
You need to unload
And you’ve got the choice
Which way you should go
Will you stride out with confidence
Or will progress be slow
Where is your confidence
Is it in man
Or will you trust in God
And in His eternal plan
Are you interested in
What God has to say
Or tempted by self satisfaction
And living only for today
You can unload that baggage
Let Him take the load
Repent and carry on lighter
Down life’s winding road
And if you want to avoid the potholes
The confusion and the strife
Ask Jesus in to your heart
For He’s the Way, the Truth, the Life

About the Poet
I live in Queensland Australia with my husband son and daughter. I love the Lord and it is my passion to express my faith in whatever way He inspires me to. At the moment it's poetry.
