As I Behold Your Face!

AS I BEHOLD YOUR FACE!

As I  behold Your face - I want to be holy and righteous just like Jesus - mold, shape and transform me in Your image - so that I look, talk, and act like You - this is my prayer - Conform my will to Yours - take me out of myself - let me behold Your face -  as I behold Your face - I am completely changed into the new creation - you said I would be - Let Your glory, mercy and grace wash me clean - to be a vessel of honor to be displayed among Your treasures - Holy and acceptable

As I behold Your face - Your sweet Spirit infuses my life!

As I behold Your face - the enemy has no hold on me - for the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, covers me - He has defeated the enemy of my soul -  and has defeated death, hell and the grave- I am looking to the resurrected Christ as my example - as my way of escape - He will guide me to eternity - to that glorious place of rest and peace - Worthy is the Lamb - who took my sin and shame upon Himself - Our conquering King is Almighty - All dominion, power and authority in heaven and earth is Yours, O Lord - how excellent is Your name - Your sovereignty reigns - Your omnipotence reigns - who can thwart Your plans and purpose for me - who can come against us - as we behold Your face - we come before Your throne in humility and reverent awe - I worship  You with my whole heart

As I behold the beautiful face of the One I love!

As I behold Your face - all that I am and ever will be - is orchestrated by the One who knew me before I was placed in the womb of life -He brought light into my darkness - How great is my God - I praise you, Lord - there is none who delivers, none who heals - none who saves - none who is my very present help in time of trouble - As I behold your face the things of earth grow strangely dim - I can see from Your perspective - things are not as bad as they seem

As I behold Your face - You say all is well!

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
