YOU MAKE ME SMILE!

 

LORD, YOU MAKE ME SMILE - WHEN I REALIZE YOU ARE WITH US EVEN IN THE MUNDANE THINGS OF OUR LIFE - YOU SAY YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS US - I KNOW THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH - I AM TRULY LIFTED UP BY YOUR GRACE - YOU MAKE ME SMILE - WHEN I THINK OF YOUR GOODNESS - THE SPECIAL THINGS THAT YOU DO EVERYDAY - TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU ARE RIGHT ALONGSIDE - YOU MAKE ME SMILE -  AND IT HEALS MY HEART - AND DELIVERS MY SOUL - WHEN I SEE THE FLOWERS PEEKING OUR OF THE COLD HARD GROUND - I AM EXCITED ABOUT A NEW BEGINNING - I KNOW THAT NEW LIFE IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER - THE WINTER HAS PAST - YOU MAKE ME SMILE  - WHEN I SEE YOU IN UNEXPECTED PLACES - FAVOR IN A FRIENDLY FACE HELPING IN SEEMINGLY SMALL WAYS - YOU MAKE ME SMILE AND I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY - YOU HAVE TAKEN CARE OF EVERYTHING - I FEAR NOT - FOR IT IS NOT WHO I AM IN YOU - HAPPINESS IS FOUND IN ORDINARY THINGS IN LIFE - AS I LOOK AROUND - FOCUSING ON YOU -

 YOU MAKE ME SMILE!

 

YOU MAKE ME SMILE - WHEN NO ONE ELSE CAN - EVEN THROUGH MY TEARS - THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE IN YOUR WORD -  YOU NEVER FAIL -  ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD - IN YOUR PERFECT PLAN FOR MY LIFE - YOU MAKE ME SMILE - FOR YOU ARE FAITHFUL - SETTING ALL THINGS IN PERFECT ORDER - ACCORDING TO YOU TIMING - AS WE WAIT ON THE LORD - AND BE OF GOOD COURAGE - YOU SHALL STRENGTHEN OUR HEARTS - TO RUN AFTER YOU WITH ENDURANCE - FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING FOUND IN JESUS - YOU MAKE ME SMILE - IN THE STORMS OF LIFE - I KNOW THAT THEY WILL CEASE -  MY SAVIOR AND REDEEMER SAYS COME - TO THE LIVING WATER - COME TO THE BREAD OF LIFE AND BE MADE WHOLE AND COMPLETE - YOU MAKE ME SMILE - FOR IN YOUR WARM EMBRACE I HAVE NEED OF NOTHING - YOUR MIRACLE WORKING SUPERNATURAL POWER IS PHENOMENAL - I AM EXCITED AND WAIT FOR MORE OF YOUR WAYS THAT

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
