THE GREAT SHEPHERD!

The Hands of the Shepherd are holding mine - I shall not want for any good thing - He orders my steps - The eyes of the Shepherd are watching me - to lead me to peaceful shores - to the peaceful waters - the voice of the Shepherd calls me to rest in the meadow grass  and cease from my labor - He has done the work - The Word of the Shepherd is my bridge over troubled waters - connecting me to His vast of supply of wisdom - The heart of the Shepherd is my compass  - I know whose I am - He loves me with an everlasting love - I have all that I need in

The Great Shepherd, Jesus!

The arms of the Shepherd surround me as  shield - He gently whispers - I will never leave you - goodness and mercy  shall follow me - The promises of the Shepherd - gives me hope in times of discouragement and stress - I can do all things with His strength - the blessings of the Shepherd - showers me with rivers of mercy, grace and favor - The miracles of the Shepherd  are more than I can imagine - it flows from Calvary’s  mountain - the blood of the Shepherd brought salvation for all - covering my sins - bringing light into darkness - the robe of the Shepherd keeps me safe from harm - protecting me - as His angels guard me - I am secure in

The Spirit of the Shepherd is my refuge and shelter in times of need - empowering me - I can do all things through the Great Shepherd - His gentle touch satisfies and refreshes my soul - the tears of the Shepherd - are for a lost and dying world - He died to save - whom many reject - not knowing His love is available to all who come in repentance - by faith with open hearts - leaving their burdens and cares behind to be carried on the shoulders of

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
