Easter Blessings

(He is not here, for he has risen as he said he would Mt 28:6)
An empty tomb
A victory sign
Death no more the conqueror

Our risen Lord
Promised fullfilled
No more slaves to sin and shame

Begin anew
covenant made
His wrath no more his mercy still

Tomorrow brings
Message of hope
No more darkness through lack of faith

His Holy Spirit
will come to visit
Fear no more but courage now

Resurrection the gift
If accepted
No more shall we for anything lack
