Pink Caladiums

End of May; in my garden
Pink Caladiums, their ornate leaves
like speckled elephant ears, brighten
every pre-claimed spot of earth
These rain divas in my garden
will not sleep below until June
With a flamboyant appearance they heighten
my awareness to an early wet season
Storm and hurricane warren
A cooling breeze sway the ornate leaves
Speckled pink Caladiums, in my garden
