Lenten Regard: a Resurrection Tease

Reflections on love
A holy sacrifice
A pasch for freedom
Freedom to one and all
From the slavery of sin and death

A time to remember
His agony, the scourging
Willingly he did submit
To torture and mockery
And carried that cross to Calvary

He paid the price
He gave his life up
With a plea to forgive us
He willed his spirit into God's hands

And by his promise
To return in three days
He left not without hope
But only through faith
Will the empty tomb be revealed
