Why Trust in the Lord ?

Why trust in The Lord ?
The Almighty One;
Creator of all that is;
Existing in and outside of time;
Boundless, limitless, expansive;
Source of life;
Word of truth;
Function of love;
Divine in essence;
Spirit in reality

Why trust in The Lord ?
The order of the universe to uphold;
Earth, a blue jewel set;
In an ornamental accessory;
Of stars, of moon, of suns;
Trees that sway, and;
Winds unseen, and voice;
Heard by men of old;
Angels, ascending and descending;
And waters raging out of our control;

Why trust in The Lord ?
Who promised;
And, a saviour sent;
Born so lowly;
His favour witnessed;
To suffer, die, and regain;
The victory over sin and death;
The wood of the cross;
The precious blood of The Lamb;
Respond so simply to the question.
