Love You More Love You More Lord you are to me The bridegroom of my soul Espoused am i in fidelity You are to me Lord of Lords I live by your love and mercy Endowed in goodness and kindness Abiding in a palace enhanced By beautiful gardens As your Word sprouts joy Daily in my heart Your promises entice me To a hope of eternal life Your unfailing love mesmerizes me Snagged in your merciful providence I struggle only To know more about you That i may love you more Love You More © gillena cox 2011 |

About the Poet
I live in Trinidad of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; a
multi ethnic, multi religious society. I write poetry for the sheer joy of crafting my feelings, my emotions my thoughts. I enjoy the challenge of abstraction in writing haiku. Married to Anthony Cox in 1971; we have a daughter Yanda and a son Khama. I was born in 1950
