About Life, Abundant Life Christ did not promise life would be, At all, foot-loose and fancy free, And without pain, nor did He say The Road to Heaven is an easy way!
But on the contrary, we will find, Dis-tress of body, soul, and mind, Yes, there are troubles, there is grief, And doubts that challenge our belief
STILL, with a Hope that Cannot end, Our wounds will heal, our hearts WILL MEND! And for all of our sins, there's GRACE! And for our trials, CHRIST'S EMBRACE!
AND Christ DID Promise life would be, Not Less than ultimate VICTORY! With CONSTANT access to our LORD! What more could ABUNDANT LIFE afford! P.S. this is just while we are on earth! HEAVEN IS COMING! |

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
