Beyond this Present Day We look beyond this present day, And doubts we should not borrow, Because we know our Savior's Way, Is, trust Him now and tomorrow,
We look beyond this present day,
And the burdens we may carry, For Christ will answer when we pray, Our burdens are temporary!
We look beyond this present day, To wait for our Christ, and rightly! For HE is here when skies are gray, And the Hope HE gives shines brightly!
We look beyond this present day, Just count it as Heavenly training! Through confidence in our GOD, our STAY, For HE is all Sustaining! |

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
