this Side of Heaven This side of Heaven, I may never know, Just how many mercies to Jesus, I owe! Those 'places' in life that He's brought me through! The times I was faith-less, when He remained True!
This side of Heaven, I may never see, Just what others prayers have accomplished for me! Just how intercession met me in my needs! Just how I've been blessed by someones quiet deeds!
This side of Heaven! Oh Lord, make me stay, Thankful for all You have done, every day! My failures and sins, may You always forgive, In life or through death, may You teach me to live!
This side of Heaven! To Christ be the Praise! For all of His Wonders, for all of His Ways! From now through eternity, may He always be, Honored and Glorified, by sinners like me!

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
