Why?? When 'problems' come, as indeed they must, They come to teach us how to trust! Sent by The Father, Who already knows, The out-come of the trials He 'sows',
For faith must grow within our hearts, And that is why our Lord imparts, Struggles and trials 'strewn' our way, To bring us praise on 'that future Day'!
So, cheer up, troubled souls, downcast! The 'present trials' weren't meant to last! But ONLY to 'prove' us in our 'sod'! To the Praise and Glory of our Great God! |

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
