Plain Brown Wrapper

Secrets come this way,
hush hush, spirited away;

Thoughts come to mind that have to
be kept, never shared, harbored away;

Feelings have long been hidden,
tied up tight, tucked away;

Tears fall, are kept out of
sight, no one to dry them away;

These things represent my life,
they have been kept here in my heart,
ever so carefully wrapped in a;

Plain brown wrapper.
