Nature's Wonder

"Nature's Wonder"

In summetime,
walking in fields of wild strawberries,
the hot sun rains down;

I've become dazed by the beauty of nature's wonder,
A breeze flows gently over me,
enfolding me, as if it were the softest of baby blankets;

A smell of wildflowers wafts on the wind,
taking me back to those childhood days of summer,
the happier days of my life;

Will there always be this magnificance,
or will someone or something come along,
to condemn it to a stark nuclear death.
