"What Will I Bring To The Cross" by Cassie Blake

Riches of the world,
that have turned
to dust and can
be blown away with
one breath

Pride, the one thing
that holds you
in its grasp,
not letting you
show an ounce of
compassion if you
wanted to

Sorrow so deep that
your heart is crushed
with the weight of it,
instead of handing it
over to Him so he can
give you His unconditional
love to free you of this

All of the ten commandments,
that have gone unfulfilled
because "they" think that they
don't pretain to them; you say
I have not committed any wrongs
unto these; are you sure, look
deep within

What will I bring to
the cross

Everything
