Up, up, and away!
Is the old one we'd say
It's up, up, and away
With good ole TWA.
The wings of man,
Sore,where there is Sun and Sand.
To seek the sun,
for a winter's tan.
There was Eastern, Braniff,
North Central too,
Central, and Mohawk,
and Ozark too boot.
Eastern and Delta,
National too,
flew from New York to Miami
and that not too few.
Contenental, and Western,
To Denver, was best,
Connecting through Chicago,
to get to the rest.
There is Delta, and Southern,
A heavenly teem,
but to get there,
Atlanta was their only means.
Chicago, the land of the wind
and the snow.
Caused many a airline big
problems, I know.
From Winter to Spring
and Summer and Fall,
The wings of man,
gets us away from it all.
Remember the international wings,
That did carry,
Like, Pan Am, and BOAC,
Northwest, made it merry.
From Europe, to Hong Kong,
On Quantus,- Swiss Air,
The Wing of Man, would
sure get you there.
