Of Time

Tic,tic, and tock,
Sounds the singing clock.
Hurry, hurry goes the day,
Seems to be no other way!

Time, the Memories it's creating,
Statements strong it is a-dating,
Time, the endless march is stomping,
On our minds is ever chomping.

Yes, the clock we try to beat,
Even in the summer's heat.
Soon the Autumn, then the winter.
Now we know that time's the winner.

Man was timeless in his beginning,
Then he started off a sinning.
Now he fights the marching clock,
as it's singing Tick, Tic, Tock!
