Lady Hawaii

Lady Hawaii

The soft sea breezes carry sounds of steel guitars,

while white waved waters wipe Hawaii's lava blackened shores.

Wonderous women curved and brown, call with hands and hips,

tell a story in their swaying with sweet songs from ruby lips.

lacy leis lie loosely around their lovely necks,

lingering lines lead the eye to see their lovely depths.

The quiet scents of flowered leis mixed with celestial

cries from the singing strings of a harp's intoxicating

plea, Hawaii, I surrender, Please I am coming back to thee.
