The Glory Came
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

The Glory Came

I danced into his gates witih thanksgiving,
I came into his courts with praise,
and passed the Brazen Altar,
soon on His Blood I could gaze!

In the "Laver of His Word" I washed,
Preparing for the Holy Place,
where the "Table of His Bread" is spread,
He invites me to partake.

The Lamp stand of purest Gold,
Glowed brightly on the scene,
And lit the "Word of Life" in me,
for all the world to see.

I turned to see another altar,
The one built just for me,
To be poured forth in incense sweet,
the fragrance of my love for Thee.

and in all this my flesh is torn,
So all I see is Him,
To worship and adore,
In the Holy of Holies with Him.

And the Glory came, the Glory came,
My heart in worship bowed.
The Glory came, the Glory came,
My heart renewed it's vows.

The Glory came, the Glory came,
The problems disappeared.
The Glory came, the Glory came.
No needs I had, or fears.
It's in the Glory of his presence,
Abundant life appears.
