A More Perfect Storm

A More Perfect Storm

Forecasters of the weather, describe 'a perfect storm'
to be one with right conditions, one with nor'easter form.
A combination of events which cause phenomenon
they must occur together, to produce this outcome.

Collision of high pressure, resultant frigid tear
push down the northern moisture, push up southeastern air.
Rare magnitude of circumstance, precursor to disaster
converge into this perfect storm, where nature seeks to master.

A more perfect storm is seen, forecast in Revelation
describing right conditions for destruction of world-nation
who turns away from Godliness, who choose to disobey.
A more perfect storm is coming and four horses lead the way.

BEHOLD A WHITE HORSE COMETH, though he who rides is dim.
He will go forth to conquer, a crown is given him.
He holds a bow grasped in his hand, First Seal thus proclaims
the white horse now is bridled, its rider holds the reins.

BEHOLD A RED HORSE COMETH, Second Seal is open.
Sword and power rider brings, takes peace from earth and foemen.
Hence when peace no longer reigns, these destroy each other
annihilation purpose, inhabits death-grip plunder.

BEHOLD A BLACK HORSE COMETH, Third Seal speaks to many.
All wheat and barley measured, each balance for a penny.
Midst four beasts a voice is heard "hurt not the oil and wine."
Perusing horse and horseman, God’s Voice declares the time.

BEHOLD A PALE HORSE COMETH, the rider's name is Death.
Hell follows close behind him, with Fourth Seal's open breath.
Power has been given them, o'er fourth part of world girth
to kill with sword, hunger, death and beasts upon the earth.

Collision of ungodliness, resultant judgment tear
push down the wrath from God above, push up His Word to air.
Lo, magnitude of circumstance, precursor to disaster
converge into more perfect storm, where God alone is Master.

About the Poet
I feel truly blessed to have been a wife, mother, grandmother and servant of God through salvation in Jesus Christ my Lord. I pray that my offering to Him through this seemingly innocuous form of communication called poetry will always lift His Name above all other names. May God bless each of us in this pursuit.
