Another Day?

Another day is coming to a close
will there be another like it, you suppose?
Did you hear the Holy Spirit call today?
Did He beckon you to come without delay?

Soon cares and snares of this life dissipate
reapers shall come forth from Heaven's Gate
tomorrow is not promised ... hear the clock?
yea, seconds tick away and soon will stop,

then it will be too late to hear His Voice
you thought you had more time to make a choice
but find to your dismay, time has flown away
too late! too late! poor soul ... 'tis Judgment Day.

Hebrews 4:7 ~ Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Revelation 3:20 ~ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
