HE COMES

Hosanna! The whole world runs after this King;

Drawn to him through grace;

He comes, riding to their hearts;

Mounted atop a lowly animal, a young donkey;

A wave of palm branches, heralds his coming;

No one can quell this storm of frenzy;

He comes, not for condemnation,

Only for salvation’s sake;

He comes, this Light, to dispel all darkness;

He comes, this Messiah, Word of God;
He comes, Jesus King of Glory.
