Sufficient

His grace is sufficient

His son he sent

Humbly to begin

And the Magi three adored Him

His grace is sufficient

His son Jesus willingly

Accepted the cross at Calvary

Who else would?

Die for you; and for me

His grace is sufficient

That precious blood as it flowed

Of lance and nails and thorn and whips

Was offered from his lips

That the father may forgive us

His grace is sufficient

Promise he did

His promise fulfilled

The temple destructible

We would by his example

Transcend to resurrect able

His grace is sufficient

For on day three

From the grave arose He

To show us that

As we die with Him

We too will arise through Him

His grace is sufficient

There at the Mount of Olives

As that cloud hovered near

Into it he ascended

To Our Father on high

His grace is sufficient

He did not leave us nor forsake us

In mighty wind and fiery tongues

His holy spirit forms into

The Body of Christ anew

His grace is sufficient

All of the gifts from His father

To this body now endowed

And we are God's heirs

Nutured in forgiveness

For imperfect are we

But perfect is He

Whose grace is sufficient for us
