Thirsty Soul

Prayer can quench a thirsty soul

Forgetful he is not alone in this world

Though empty now the drinking bowl

Ask in faith and it will be forth coming

Prayer can quench a thirsty soul

On bended knees or standing tall

Of poignant conviction and clear set goal

There never is forever aridity

Fear and doubt will steal your dole

And leave you parched and dry but

Prayer can quench a thirsty soul
