Grain of Sand

There's sand in my shoe,
As i'm thinking of you,
Showering us with your love;
Day in day out;

I reflect on your promise,
A scion, stock of Jesse,
Fulfilled He bore His cross;
To Calvary Hill;

There salvation to purchase,
By His precious blood shed;
Father forgive them,
His mercy plea;

How vast is your love,
Your only son the sacrifice,
No burnt offering no holocaust;
But the Lamb of God;

Can each grain of sand
Be counted?
Surely, only by you who,
Fashioned shoreline and sea.
