Adam and Woman

He took from Adam one of his ribs
This He clothed with flesh of his flesh
A helpmate then for the man He dibs
Into a paradise given him like this
To eat within the confines of innocence
And being enticed from the wealth
Of his environs to abide in essence
Why then Adam to the centre go in stealth?

Woman he named her for she was
Lineage of his own flesh and bone
Instantly he knew he acclaimed her as
Now he will no longer have to be alone
Truly his paradise was then completed
With Eve to wander and to explore a garden
A wonder which the Lord God had created
Did he tell the woman of the Lord's bidding?
