Primordial Rhyme

The Holy Bible, what-a-ya do?

How do-ya decide what's false and what's true?

Where do-ya stand with Adam and Eve?

From Cover-da-cover you need to believe!

That apple tree storys a bit like the Ark,

harder to swallow than eatin tree bark!

But Jesus Himself spoke of-um as true?

So I gota think that He probably knew.

Cause if not for Adam no curse ta-be-in,

no reason for Christ ta-redeem us from sin.

Did He hang there for nothin,

some lunatic man,

with no promise of Heaven, no wonderful plan?

Christ was raised from the dead, and the bible's divine,

or we all evolved from primordial slime.

About the Poet
I love God and claim Jesus as lord. My purpose is to encourage others to do the same.
