Hebrews Crossing

Faith is being sure of what we do not see,
like when the universe was formed cause
God decided it should be. If you're no longer sure,
then off the boat, you need a tossing,
flip your Bible toward the back
and head on down to Hebrews Crossing.

Hebrews Crossings what you call it
in the belly of a whale.
At a time of desperation you've a chance to win or fail.
What comes quite natural to you is just doing what you do.
That's when to put your faith in God
instead of putting faith in you.

"Able was a righteous man" that's what the Lord had said.
Able still is speaking even though we know he's dead.
What he's conveying in a word
you'll find it just by glossing
through the verses of the chapter
that we know as Hebrews Crossing.

Enoch was, and then he wasn't, but never did he die.
Noah warned all of the future, they thought it was a lie.
Abraham was called to go, so he obeyed and went,
and every place he stopped he built an altar by his tent.

He's father of the promise land. You need to hear his story.
He, and his wife, they had a child
and gave to God the glory.
He climbed upon the mountain to deliver God his will,
but it wasn't in Gods nature, so his son he didn't kill.

Decendants sprang as numerous as stars up in the sky
from Abraham, a simple man, not giving up to die.
Many heroes just like him have pleased the Lord above.
AND-He rewards His seekers with a great undying love.

The rest of Hebrews Crossing has the parting of the sea.
It talks about some bones,
and of the place they're meant to be.
What shall I say! I haven't time to tell about it all.
How heroes quench fury in the flames,
and read writing on the wall.

They're stoned and flogged,
they're sawed in two,
they lived in holes, and caves,
not yet recieved their promise when
they went on to their graves.

God always has a better plan, what do we need to know.
By faith you live and you will find
that God's the real hero.

So check it out. You'll be amazed.
It's suggested,I'm not bossing.
But HOPE'S the substance you could find
by faith at Hebrews Crossing.

(Hebrews Chapter 11)
