God set the stage
But we write our own play
as Big Picture Poets
dictate what we should say.

Analytical thought beams
through conscienceless eyes
wrapped in some truth
what a big ball of lies.

Big Picture Poets
mock traditional things.
When cooks spoil the soup
useless wedding bells ring.

It stretches before you
The hook line and sinker.
God’s self-evident truth
requires no special thinker.

Big Picture Poets
think they run the show!
God gave them over
and they don’t even know.

Through God's loving filter
comes all life can throw
to make us, or break us,
what’s needed to grow.

Big Picture Poets
want jesters that judge
constitutional meaning
mixed in with the sludge

Bend it, amend it,
our forefather's plans.
Tie God with red tape
till He no longer stands.

Big Picture Poets
“Half-Time Show” on the loose!
Like Sodom and Gomorrah
they’re cooking our goose.

Angels may visit
saying it's time to go.
Don’t stay for the money
flee the wrath of God’s woe!

Until then live blameless
don’t look back to your fault.
stay morally pure.
or you could turn to bad salt!
