Deeds and Grace

Deeds and Grace

When we do deeds of mercy and grace,

Nothing else can these virtues replace

These precious Gifts are from the Lord,

And in our hearts, we have our 'reward'!

Quiet acts of Mercy, what a blessing they are,

Think of the ones who are near, but once 'far',

And all because we were loving to them,

( Another smile from the Savior, from Him! )

The Lord is Faithful, the Lord is True,

He will delight in quiet deeds that we do,

Because our Great Savior once died in our place,

We can live out our lives in mercy, and grace!

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
