The Power of Praise The power of praise is a wonderful thing! When extolling our Savior, our Redeemer, and King! It can lift up our spirits, and give us Hope! And, as well, it enables our hearts to cope!
For when we are in the depths of despair, To praise our Lord can nullify our care! As well, to offer our Savior, the praise, Can re-fresh our hearts even in troubling days!
And what does my heart say to all of this? Comfort and encouragment from the praise that's HIS! For our Great Savior, in so many ways, Blesses our hearts through our offering HIM praise! |

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
