'Caught Up l Th. 4, l Cor. 15

When I rise in the eastern skies,

Oh what a Joy awaits for me!

No longer bound with earthly ties,

I'LL be Saved, and I'LL be Free!

When I rise in the eastern skies,

All my loved ones gathered There,

Forgotten will be our old good-byes,

In our reunion in the air,

When I rise in the eastern skies,

I will meet my Savior and my God,

And there will be answers for all of my 'why's'

And My brand new body will bring Christ Laud!

When I rise in the eastern skies!

How the Joy that's coming from my heart will spring,

But most of all, the greatest Prize,

Is to be Forever with Christ, my King!

About the Poet
I am 64, a born-again Christian, and didn't write until 1974. My mother inspired me to write poetry, from an early age since she developed a deep love for poetry in my life. However it took years before I tried to write. My favorite subject to write about is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and religious subjects. I reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
