To Catherine and Joe

We never, ever can know the 'why',

But I can tell you...

Children don't die...

They're briefly ours to hold and love,

But they belong alone to God above.

However long their visit here,

To see them go will bring a tear.

But nevertheless, we must know

That God has a mansion

Where they all go...

For this is promised

And His word is true,

Trust in Him

And He'll comfort you.

Catherine, Joe....hold on tight

Remember, William is only

Out of your sight,

He's tucked in your hearts,

In your memories, too...

Now Jesus holds him

Each day through.

They'll wait for the day when your work here is done,

Then once again you will hold your son.

But for now there's Walter,

Who's a blessing each day,

And trust God to send

More blessings your way.

In loving memory of William
