Check in With Jesus

Check in With Jesus

When you close the door behind you
And set out on your way,
Did you check in with Jesus,
Or take the time to pray?

Did you dress yourself in HIS clothes?
What He layed out in His word,
Are you silent in this troubled world,
Or a voice that can be heard.

Are you talking about Jesus?
How He changed your life one day,
Are you telling of His mercy,
And what HE had to pay?

Does your life reflect God in you?
Are you connected to the vine?
What will be your fruit this day...
Selfish or divine?

Can the Holy Spirit use you?
Will you yield to Him today?
Did you check in with Jesus,
As you started on your way?
