Pathways

I walk a path of undignified possibilities,
I walk a path of unexpected fatalities.

My road is uneven, my map is unclear,
I'm not sure where I'm going, but I'll know when I'm near.

I turn to walk upon a paved road,
Isn't that too easy for a heart made of gold?

Aren't we all, but past mistakes that we've made?
My soul is made up of bricks that I've laid.

My chosen way is harder...
My chosen way proved true.

We all have to make a decision...

Did you make your path, or did your path make you?
