Broken Wings
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Broken Wings

With tattered wings,
God's eagles fly
but they never soar
up too high.

For on their wings,
they carry pain
to reach new heights
would be in vain.

Broken wings,
can't take on air
life to them
has been so unfair.

Hurt has clipped,
their wings spread
all the eagle knows
is what they dread.

Eagles wings,
chained to the past
cannot take off
no matter the draft.

They need Jesus,
to set them free
from all the drama
and its misery.

Only then,
will they really fly
when to their past
they let it die!

Luke 9:62

" And Jesus said unto him, No man, having
put his hand to the plough, and looking
back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
