Chosen One

I chose you,
handpicked you from the vine
I always planned for you
to be a follower of mine.

I chose you,
I knew you'd bear much fruit
I always knew that for me
you'd be a faithful shoot.

I chose you,
molded you with my hand
I always perceived you'd take
for Me a loving, peaceful stand.

I chose you,
I knew I could count on you
I always knew that you 'd do
just what I asked you to.

I chose you,
ordained your every step
I always believed you'd walk
and follow my own footstep.

I chose you,
My father gave you to me
and whatever you ask of Him
I will gladly give to thee!

John 15:16

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen
you, and ordained you, that ye should go
and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit
should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask
of the Father in my name, he may give it
 you."
