Examine Me, Dear Lord
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Examine Me, Dear Lord

Examine me dear Lord,
see through my disguise
tear away the mask I wear
and reveal to me my lies.

Examine me dear Lord,
test my mind and my heart
point out all the inner flaws
that are keeping us apart.

Examine me dear Lord,
pull back the veil on my sin
show me my true intentions
expose where my skin is thin.

Examine me dear Lord,
bare my soul's weakness
uncover my selfish acts
take from me my bleakness.

Examine me dear Lord,
see through my disguise
so that one day I may . . .
look right into Your eyes!

Psalm 26:2

"Examine me, O Lord, and prove me;
Try my mind and my heart."
