Salvation's Balm

Salvation's Balm

He takes the broken strings,
wrapped around our heart
binds them with His love
and offers us a new start.

He knows our inward pain,
He sees our troubled mind
and offers the repented one
a new life ~ in Him to find.

He takes our dishonor,
and the injury we've done
then washes us anew
in the blood of His Son.

He offers consolation,
remembers our sins no more
heals us from our wounds
and opens pardon's door.

He reconciles us to His Spirit,
our hearts forever will rejoice
as we sing a new song of praise
with salvation's balm in our voice.

Psalm 147:3

"He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds."
